VEHICLE PURCHASE AND DELIVERY DESCRIPTION We specialize in very competitive prices, particularly for all Hondas, Toyotas, and vehicles under warranty. While purchasing a new vehicle may not always be the most economical choice, many consumers prefer them and Americans drive them for an average of 3.4 years. I represent buyers in their often below invoice pricing and financing choices with new vehicle dealers. In the event that we have not yet developed a preferred cost dealer for the requested brand in that client area, we get base vehicle bids for the buyer specifications from multiple new vehicle dealers nearest your zip code on the basis of year, make, model, style and options. Upon receipt of initial bids, we negotiate prices, options and financing as well as other customer preferences. WHY USE A BROKER? Only about seven percent of all new vehicles are delivered through brokers. They include fleet purchasing for business. Automotive News reports that brokered purchases are increasing rapidly. Dealers are increasingly aware of our purchasing effectiveness. Our invitation to bid reminds dealers of the behind the scenes manufacturer’s factory to dealer incentives rebates and holdbacks. Dealers know that each buyer is very likely to purchase from one of the bidding dealers. Dealer bids are in writing, signed and create an obligation on their part before a customer's visit is needed. PRIMARY SERVICE AREA Our primary service area is Florida and Georgia but we serve clients in other states where we can do so conveniently and efficiently. Prior to contact with us, you should drive your desired vehicle and become familiar with the standard equipment as well as optional equipment pricing. After you decide what models and optional equipment you want, you should call, fax or email us. My network of prefered dealers provides discounts in return for our repeat volume. OUR FEES Normally, our broker fee is paid by the dealer in much the same way as he would compensate an employed salesman for the sale. Discounts are provided in return for our volume. Our quote is good for 72 hours and, after that, the price is subject to change. If you should delay your decision longer than 72 hours, we would again seek quotes for the same vehicle. Where the vehicle is in stock and a client makes timely decisions, pricing and delivery can occur in 1 - 7 days. VEHICLE DELIVERY Final confirmation of the total price and equipment options in writing will be available to you before your purchase decision. Inspection and delivery will occur in your market area unless the area brand dealers are not price competitive or, for some reason, can’t find your vehicle. Before taking possession, the vehicle should be thoroughly inspected by you to make sure every specification is in order. Only then do you make the pre-arranged payment, sign papers and drive your vehicle away. My goal is to always negotiate in a manner that avoids any questions arising after the buyer reaches the dealership. TRADE-INS The key to trade-ins is who will pay the most for your vehicle. Private parties almost always pay the most. However, some clients with a vehicle prefer to avoid visits from and demonstration rides with prospective buyers. The dealer with the lowest new vehicle price may not offer the best price for your current vehicle. Therefore, we regard the purchase and sale as separate decisions. Dealers generally allow as credit for trade-ins no more than they would have to pay for that vehicle on the wholesale vehicle auction. If you sell it yourself, I have written suggestions. If you have an excess vehicle and prefer not to sell your vehicle on your own, I can sell it for you or provide you advice if you prefer. You get 2 or 3 bids from used vehicle dealers without any obligation for you to buy anything from them. This allows you to compare the new vehicle dealer trade-in offer with those you have obtained on your own. You are only charged sales tax on the value difference between the new and trade-in vehicle. FINANCING Should you need financing, we suggest you compare rates with your credit union, bank or other lending source. If you request us to do so, we can search for special rates for dealer or manufacturer financing during our price negotiations with dealers. Credit unions usually have the lowest interest rates.
